Birthday, but make it quarantine! This year for my 24th birthday (which was yesterday, so happy birthday to meeee š„³) things looked a little different than they have in the past. As opposed to going to a bar or on a big trip, me and some friends went on a hike! Watson Mill State Park has a variety of different hiking trails, so we chose the State Park Loop. It was about 2.5 miles and took a little more than an hour to complete. It was on the easy side when it comes to difficulty; but navigating was a bit challenging because it wasnāt as clearly marked as others I have done, and there were a couple splits that we just had to guess on lol. We didnāt see people at all during the hike, so it was perfect for social distancing. Overall, it was a great hike. We had a few first time hikers with us and they really enjoyed it, too! Plus, the waterfall at the end was a great place to sit and listen to the sound of nature... plus a photo-op!! ā How were your birthday plans affected by covid?
